There's a short little bit of audio here about how the coming of video games was reported about on the radio in New Zealand. In one snippet from 1982, an importer of arcade machines mentions he tweaks them to make them more aggro to suit the NZ players - compared to the US ones who apparently were more happy with intellectual games. Hmmm. :)
