I'd seen that before I posted, though I don't pretend to follow the technical discussion. But the claim that Andresen's blog had been hacked has been discounted...
My guess would be that Andresen and satoshi had at least a few private communications back in the day that only they would know about and which Wright could've revealed to Andresen to help convince him.
