Jul. 9th, 2016 10:38 amIn New Zealand, the average price of a house in Auckland is nearing a million NZ dollars, compared to the slightly more reasonable half a million for the rest of the country. The NZ government thought it'd be a good idea if the Reserve Bank did something about this, but they said nah - do it yourself...

The trouble with asking the government to do stuff, is they can always stop doing it and then you're back where you started.
